Parkmall Hosts Suroy Suroy Sugbo

No less than the Governor of Cebu, Gwen Garcia heads the Suroy Suroy Sugbo program which aims to promote countryside tourism, away from the bustling Metropolitan Cebu.

Organized trips like The Southern Heritage Trail, Northern Escapade, Discover Enchanting Camotes, Explore the Midwest and Urban Adventure... showcase various towns and cities best kept talent, boastful resources and unparalleled hospitality.

On August 16 to 17, 2008, Suroy Suroy Sugbo once again organized an Urban Adventure highlighting the cities of Mandaue, Lapu-lapu, town of Cordova and island hopping across the islands of Mactan. Island hopping adventure includes a ride on an outrigger boat, bird watching in Olango Island's Bird Sanctuary and snorkeling or diving in Gilotongan's Fish Sanctuary.

Before it ends on Sunday, at sunset, Cebu Parkmall along with Mandaue City Hall, SaveMore Supermarket, Manila Foodshoppe, Postrio, Metrobank, Banco de Oro and Coca-cola hosts the final leg of the tour as a venue for over 200 foreign and local tourists to witness world class performance by over a hundred Mantawi performers and more.
